poop shootin

Been out for a bit.

Getting geared up now for the spring planting and "agronomic application of nutrients" AKA shit spreading stuff at work.

Have been looking at some of the other companies building equipment, and it looks like they are focused on building bigger pumps, bigger tractors, more horsepower, and more fuel burned; all to move more gallons per minute. There are some things they do well, but there a tons of little things they are completely missing.

I think we can build equipment that shows a lot more simplicity and finesse in design, keep things mechanical and easy to repair. Match drive rates and efficiencies to needed outputs, and keep the high priced computer stuff to a minimum to keep things simple and moving along.

If we can cut fuel consumption by 20% (with a $40,000 per year fuel bill for a moderate pumping operation) our equipment will pay itself off faster than the competition and put more money back in our customers' pockets. Hopefully this will allow them to spend more of that money with us down the road too.
